Carbon Steel Plate Cutting
Modern laser cutting systems can cut carbon steel with a maximum thickness of nearly 20mm, and the slit for thin plates can be as narrow as about 0.1mm. The heat-affected zone of laser-cut low carbon steel is extremely small, and the cut is flat, smooth, and has good verticality. For high carbon steel, the quality of laser cutting edge is better than that of low carbon steel, but its heat affected zone is larger. The maximum cutting depth of our company’s AHL series laser machine is 5mm.
Stainless Steel Cutting
Laser cutting is easier to cut stainless steel sheet. With high-power YAG laser cutting system, the maximum thickness of stainless steel can reach 4mm. The low power YAG laser cutting system we developed cuts stainless steel thickness up to 4mm.
Alloy Steel Plate Cutting
Most alloy steels can be laser cut with good edge quality. However, tool steel and hot die steel with high tungsten content will have corrosion and slag during laser cutting.
Aluminum And Alloy Sheet Cutting
Aluminum cutting belongs to melting cutting, and auxiliary gas is added to blow away the molten material in the cutting area, so that better cutting surface quality can be obtained. At present, the maximum thickness of cutting aluminum plate is 1.5mm.
Cutting Of Other Metal Materials
Copper is not suitable for laser cutting, and the cutting is very thin. Most of titanium and titanium alloys and nickel alloys can be cut by laser.
Non-metallic materials: CO2 laser cutting machine CO2 marking and engraving machine series is suitable for cutting and engraving wood, paper, rubber, leather, acrylic, plastic, cloth fiber composite materials, engraving horns, two-color plates, painted copper plates.
